The Salesforce App is a window into the full product, showing you profiles of 1.4m people and 1.9m organizations. Customers will be one-click away from further information on the BoardEx platform, which includes tenure, committee, and other data, as well as the Advanced Search capabilities of the full product.
Access to the BoardEx Salesforce App is recommended via SAML authentication, which allows seamless integration between Salesforce and BoardEx. Many of our customers already use SAML for access to both BoardEx and Salesforce independently.
There is only one version of the BoardEx app for Salesforce. This is designed to provide BoardEx profile data for contacts and accounts within Salesforce.
- Integration is relatively simple, and we have an easy to follow guide to setting up the app. Most customers will test it in a Sandbox environment prior to release on their live installation of Salesforce.
- The BoardEx Account will need to be set up specifically for Salesforce access and certain fields need to be communicated by the BoardEx Product Technical Support team. The team can help you if you need to set up an account for the client.
- Concordance with customer Salesforce records with BoardEx records is recommended for optimal results. This matching should be done before roll-out. This process is relatively simple – the customer would send us their list of accounts/contacts with the Salesforce identifier. We have an excellent process for matching these accounts and contacts with BoardEx records.
- These would then be added to a special field in their Salesforce database.
